PIChE CAMANAVA Annual Planning: A Step Towards Progress

On March 9, 2025, the Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers – CAMANAVA Chapter (PIChE – CAMANAVA) held its much-anticipated Annual Planning session. This event brought together members and leaders of the organization to discuss and strategize for the upcoming year. The primary focus was on developing general strategies and programs aimed at enhancing the profession and contributing positively to the CAMANAVA community.
The day began with a comprehensive review of the previous year’s achievements and challenges. This reflection set the stage for identifying key areas of improvement and opportunities for growth. Members engaged in lively discussions, sharing insights and experiences that would inform the planning process. The brainstorming sessions were particularly productive, with innovative ideas being proposed for professional development workshops, community outreach programs, and collaborative projects with local industries.
In the afternoon, the focus shifted to drafting actionable plans. Committees were formed to oversee various initiatives, ensuring that each project had dedicated leadership and clear objectives. Among the highlights were plans for a series of technical seminars, mentorship programs for young engineers, and sustainability projects aimed at addressing environmental concerns in the CAMANAVA area.
