MoA for sponsorship by PIChE CAMANAVA Chapter to PLM ChE Research Colloquium

The Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers (PIChE) CAMANAVA Chapter is honored to sponsor the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) Chemical Engineering Research Colloquium on May 7, 2025. To formalize its support for the event, a Memorandum of Agreement between the PIChE CAMANAVA Chapter and the PLM Chemical Engineering Department was signed on April 3, 2025. The signing was represented by Engr. Jarlie Clemeña, Chairperson of the PLM Chemical Engineering Department, and Chapter President, Engr. Ma. Rosario G. Garcia, with Engr. Evangeline Lubao, Dean of the PLM College of Engineering, and Engr. Lovezza Balanay, Chapter’s Director of the Community Development Committee, serving as witnesses. Also present during the signing were Chapter Advisers and fellow members, Engrs. Teresita Balba and Elen Perlado. Concurrently, the chapter provided a monetary donation of Php 5,000 to the ChE Department to assist in facilitating the event. This sponsorship underscores the chapter’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of chemical engineers.
The Research Colloquium will serve as a platform for PLM Chemical Engineering students to showcase their research and engage in technical discussions with experts, who will serve as research panelists. Further exemplifying its support, the chapter has invited one of its advisers and esteemed members, Engr. Teresita Balba, to participate as a research panelist for the event.
